7 Steps for Creating the Life YOU Want

blog-7steps

We all aspire to do, be, and have great things. Yet most of us simply aren't creating the results we want.
We complain that we don't have enough money, romance, success or joy in our lives. We point fingers and blame outside problems that "happen" to us and make life more difficult. But what we need to understand and keep at the forefront of our minds is that greatness exists in all of us. It is simply up to us to pull it out of ourselves.
Regardless of personal circumstances, economic climates, and access to resources, it helps to maintain faith in the fact that we each are more powerful than we think. We all have the ability to create the life we want. We just need to learn how to do it.
Is there an exact "formula"? No, but there are certain common features that successful people exhibit and that anyone can practice. They are what can jumpstart your success and attract what you want in life. You'd be hard pressed to find any high achiever who doesn't live by the following 7 tips:

1. Take No Less than 100% Responsibility for Your Life

One of the greatest myths that is pervasive in our culture today is the idea that you are entitled to a great life – and that somehow, somewhere, someone is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness, exciting career options, nurturing family time, and blissful personal relationships simply because we exist.
But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of the life you live. That person is you.
Everything about you is a result of your doing or not doing. Income. Debt. Relationships. Health. Fitness level. Attitudes and behaviors. That person who reflects back at you in the mirror is the chief conductor in your life. Say hello!
I think everyone knows this in their hearts, but the mind can play games, tricking plenty of people into thinking external factors are the source of failure, disappointment, and unhappiness. But the truth of the matter is that external factors don't determine how you live. You are in complete control of the quality of your life.
Successful people take full responsibility for the thoughts they think, the images they visualize, and the actions they take. They don't waste their time and energy blaming and complaining. They evaluate their experiences and decide if they need to change them or not. They face the uncomfortable and take risks in order to create the life they want to live.

2. Be Clear Why You're Here

I believe each of us is born with a life purpose. Identifying, acknowledging and honoring this purpose is perhaps the most important action successful people take.
They take the time to understand what they're here to do, and then they pursue that purpose with passion and enthusiasm.
If you don't know what you're supposed to be doing, tune in to the signals around you. Looking toward others for help and guidance is helpful, but don't forget to stay tuned in to yourself—your behavior, attitude, likes and dislikes, and life experiences. Identify what's working and what isn't. If you need to, write it all down. You might be surprised by what you discover.

3. Decide What You Want

It sounds so simple, but here's the problem: I see plenty of people who are overly busy yet who feel unsatisfied and unfulfilled. They are physically tired, spiritually drained, and far from where they'd like to be—as if they've been running on a treadmill going nowhere fast.
Why? Because they haven't clearly mapped out what they want and then taken the steps to get there. Rather than identifying specific goals, milestones, and dreams (and I'm talking BIG dreams and goals here), they go through the motions day in and day out tackling unimportant tasks. They end up...you guessed it...going in circles and wasting lots of energy. In the meanwhile, they grow increasingly uninspired and out of touch with their authentic selves. This, of course, sets anyone up to living a life out of balance.
One of the main reasons why most people don't get what they want is they haven't decided what they want. They haven't defined their desires in clear and compelling detail. What does success look like to you? Not everybody's definition of success is the same, nor should it be.
Don't let your inner devil's advocate (or that incessant but unimportant To Do list) inhibit you from dreaming big. As soon as you commit to a big dream and really go after it, your subconscious creative mind will come up with big ideas to make it happen. You'll start attracting the people, resources, and opportunities you need into your life to make your dream come true. Big dreams not only inspire you, but they also compel others to want to play big, too.

4. Believe It Is Possible

Scientists used to believe that humans responded to information flowing into the brain from the outside world. But today, they're learning that instead we respond to what the brain, based on previous experience, expects to happen next. In fact, the mind is such a powerful instrument, it can deliver literally everything you want. But you have to believe that what you want is possible.
As you commit to believing in yourself, also make a commitment to toning down the complaint department. Look at what you are complaining about:
I'm fat.
I'm tired.
I can't get out of debt.
I won't ever get a better job.
I can't stand the relationship I have with my father.
I'll never find a soul mate in life.
Really examine your complaints. More than likely you can do something about them. They are not about other people, other things, or other events. They are about YOU.

5. Believe in Yourself

If you are going to be successful in creating the life of your dreams, you have to believe that you are capable of making it happen. Whether you call it self-esteem, self-confidence or self-assurance, it is a deep-seated belief that you have what it takes; the abilities, inner resources, talents and skills to create your desired results.
Have unwavering faith in yourself, for good and bad. Make the decision to believe that you create all your experiences. You will experience successes thanks to you, and you will experience pain, struggle, and strife thanks to you. Sounds a little strange, but accepting this level of responsibility is uniquely empowering. It means you can do, change, and be anything. Stumbling blocks become just that—little hills to hop over.

6. Become an Inverse Paranoid

This one is straightforward: Imagine how much easier it would be to succeed in life if you were constantly expecting the world to support you and bring you opportunity. Successful people do just that.

7. Unleash the Power of Goal Setting

Experts on the science of success know the brain is a goal-seeking organism. Whatever goal you give to your subconscious mind, it will work day and night to achieve. To engage you subconscious mind, a goal has to be measurable. When there aren't any criteria for measurement, it is simply something you want, a wish, a preference, or a good idea.
Sometimes we need to make just one initial goal to get started, and that's okay. At least it comes with a few actions to achieve. A first step simply can be making an immediate change in a single area in your life. Are you unhappy about something that is happening right now? Make requests that will make it more desirable to you, or take the steps to change it yourself.

If you want a different outcome, change your behavior

Making a change might be uncomfortable and overwhelming for you. It might mean you have to put in more time, money, and effort. It might mean that someone gets upset about it, or makes you feel bad about your decision. It might be difficult to change or leave a situation, but staying put is your choice so why continue to complain? You can either do something about it or not. It is your choice and you have responsibility for your choices.
Bear in mind that you have to be willing to change your behavior if you want a different outcome. You have to be willing to take the risks necessary to get what you want. If you've already taken an initial step in the right direction, now's the time to plan more steps to keep moving you forward faster.
Isn't it a great relief to know that you can make your life what you want it to be? Isn't it wonderful that your successes do not depend on someone else?
So if you need just one thing to do different today than you did yesterday, make it this: Commit to taking 100% responsibility for every aspect of your life. Decide to make changes, one step at a time. Once you start the process you'll discover it is much easier to get what you want by taking control of your thoughts, your visualizations, and your actions!

What is Success? 4 Questions To Ponder

What is Success? – 4 Questions To Ponder

What is Success? – 4 Questions To Ponder
I have a BIG question for you today…What is Success?
What is the true meaning of success? How do you measure it? How do you know when you have achieved it?
Let’s explore this big question by pondering a few smaller questions shall we…

Is Success Defined By How Much Money You Make?

I used to believe that I could measure my success and self-worth by how much money I had, if only I was a millionaire, then my life would be perfect, then I would be able to declare myself successful!!!
The truth is that when your only motivation is money you can lose focus on the things in life that really matter. Things like having a true sense of purpose that nurtures your psychological and spiritual well-being.
While money is really important in today’s world, the bottom line is if you put all your focus is on acquiring money, you can feel very empty inside.

Is Success Defined By a Job Title?

It’s really easy to get caught up on what’s called the Hedonic Treadmill, that’s where you think the next big thing will make you successful, only to realize when you get there that it doesn’t, so you go after the next big thing…and the next…
Part of this treadmill is believing extrinsic factors such as the next big promotion will finally stamp you with that elusive success title.
I’ve chased the corporate job titles, and gotten them, but this perpetual treadmill just keeps going, it never stops, you are never satisfied with what you have achieved.
This will go on indefinitely as long as you’re measuring your success by extrinsic factors such as fame, fortune, and power.

Is Success To Be Achieved at The Expense of All Else?

I have fallen into this trap, and believe me it caused me terrible pain (and the loss of an incredible woman). Trust me on this…it hurts.
The truth of the matter is that we must learn to take time for ourselves, our families, and our close relationships.
Professional athletes know how important it is to train intensely, but they also understand that without rest their bodies will fail them.

Is Success Defined by Never Making a Mistake?

Many people are paralyzed by the fear of failure. This often causes them to work for hours on very insignificant matters, they put in a lot of activity, but they accomplish nothing.
Others fall into the procrastination trap where they avoid starting a task for fear they won’t do it well enough.
Don’t think that to be successful you must be perfect, the result of that will be delaying publishing your book, giving that speech, or releasing that new product because you are constantly trying to make it perfect.

 In Summary

What is success?
Success is a beautiful sweet journey and not a destination. Success is the constant realization of a worthwhile dream. Success is not only based on your profits, but more importantly on the meaningful contribution you make serving your purpose in life. How do you use your unique gifts and talents in service to others? How do you contribute to making the world a better place?
Success means knowing what is most valuable to you, it means knowing what your worthwhile dream is, and diligently, patiently, persistently, and playfully working toward it an a consistent day-to-day basis.
So what is success to me? Here is how I define my own personal success; “Success is diligently working toward my big dreams by taking consistent, inspired, and measurable daily action towards my short term goals
There, that is it for me. It is not the outcome of the actions I take, because they vary, and if I don’t like the outcome I change the action. The success lies in taking the action every day!!!
Time for a bit of introspection…What is success to you? How do you define success for yourself?
Please share this article by clicking the share buttons below, and please leave a comment below…I would love to hear how you define your own success.

Who Wants to be a Billionaire? 20 Keys to Success from the Superrich

Who Wants to be a Billionaire? 20 Keys to Success from the Superrich

By Marina Katz / Source: abc news
Ever wonder what it feels like to live like the superrich? Decked-out megayachts, private jets and lavish jewels are all perks of being a billionaire. But behind the glitz and glamour is a road to success paved with hard work, determination and unyielding passion.
“20/20″ stepped into the lives of four entrepreneurs who are redefining what it means to be successful and got a glimpse of what they are doing to give back. Zappos.com CEO Tony Hsieh; the owner of Patriarch Partners, Lynn Tilton; the creator of Cirque du Soleil, Guy LaLiberte; and Paul Mitchell founder John Paul DeJoria have offered up their keys to success, both in business and in life. Read on to find out how they made their billions.
1. Figure out what you’re so passionate about that you’d be happy doing it for 10 years, even if you never made any money from it. That’s what you should be doing.
2. Always be true to yourself.
3. Figure out what your values are and live by them, in business and in life.
4. Rather than focus on work-life separation, focus on work-life integration.
5. Don’t network. Focus on building real relationships and friendships where the relationship itself is its own reward, instead of trying to get something out of the relationship to benefit your business or yourself.
6. Remember to maximize for happiness, not money or status.
7. Think about what your definition of success really is. Is it externally driven or internally driven?
8. Get ready for rejection.
9. Success unshared is failure. Give back — share your wealth.
10. Successful people do all the things unsuccessful people don’t want to do.
11. Values and ethics always come first.
12. Don’t lie, cheat or steal for one penny or one dollar — ever.
13. Business with bad people is always bad business.
14. You have to learn that you can walk away from someone that you care about for the greater good.
15. When my management teams come into the room, I hug them, I give them truth and “harsh speak” when they’re in, and then I hug them on the way out.
16. The truth is cold and hard, but it’s the first point on the path to hope and salvation.
17. Don’t do what you do for the money. Whatever path you choose, do it because it makes your heart beat fast.
18. If you do good, good will come back to you.
19. You have to be fundamentally engaged and honest toward yourself.
20. Live your life full throttle. Take risks!

Rich in Good Works

By Pat Roberston

As we care for the poor, God cares for us

The Apostle Paul gives these instructions to Timothy, a young pastor: Tell those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which will soon be gone. But their trust should be in the living God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and should give generously to those in need, always being ready to share with others whatever God has given them. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may take hold of real life ?(1 Timothy 6:17-19 nlt).

Around the world, hundreds of millions of people live on about a dollar a day. They are starving, wracked with disease, and miserable. It is God’s plan and purpose that we help those who are suffering. When we do, He pours out such blessing that we can’t contain it!

And what a blessing it is to know that, together, we are giving people food, clothing and shelter. We are helping victims of earthquakes, floods, tornadoes and fires. We are providing medicine to those who are sick and suffering. Most important, we are sharing the Good News of Jesus with hurting people in America and around the world. It’s a tremendous privilege that we can bring truth to those who need the Savior.

Our job is to provide for those in need. And when we are rich in good works, the Lord richly gives us all we need. God bless you!

Happiness in LIfe: You Deserve It

Happiness in Life: You Deserve it!

Posted by Brian Tracy on Dec 2, 2010

Achieving your own happiness is the best measure of how well you are living your life and enjoying your relationships. You can learn how to be happier and more fulfilled in everything you do.

Everyone is Different

Happiness in life is like a smorgasbord. If 100 people went to a smorgasbord and each put food on their plate in the quantity and mix that each felt would be most pleasing to him, every plate would be different. Even a husband and wife would go up to the smorgasbord and come back with plates that looked completely different. Happiness is the same way. Each person requires a particular combination of those ingredients to feel the very best about him or herself.

Listen to Your Heart

And your mix is changing continually. If you went to the same smorgasbord every day for a year, you probably would come back with a different plateful of food each time. Each day-sometimes each hour-only you can tell what it takes to make you happy. Therefore, the only way to judge whether a job, a relationship, an investment, or any decision, is right for you is to get in touch with your feelings and listen to your heart.

Be True to Yourself

You’re true to yourself only when you follow your inner guiding light, when you listen to what Ralph Waldo Emerson called the “still, small voice within.” You’re being the very best person you can be only when you have the courage and the fortitude to allow your definition of happiness, whatever it may be, to be the guiding light of every part of your life.

There Are No Limits

A very important point on the subject of happiness is whether or not you feel that you “deserve” to be happy.

Accept the notion that you deserve all the happiness in life you can honestly attain through the application of your talents and abilities. The more you like and respect yourself, the more deserving you will feel of the good things in life. And the more deserving you feel, the more likely you will attain and hold on to the happiness you are working toward.

Make Happiness Your Key Measure

You should make finding happiness in life the organizing principle of your life. Compare every possible action and decision you make against your standard of happiness to see whether that action would make you happier or unhappier. Soon, you will discover that almost all of the problems in your life come from choices that you have made – or are currently making – that do not contribute to your happiness.

Pay the Price

Of course, there are countless times when you will have to do little things that don’t make you happy along the way toward those larger things that make you very happy indeed. We call this paying the price of success in advance. You must pay your dues. Sometimes these interim steps don’t make you happy directly, but the happiness you achieve from attaining your goal will be so great that it totally overwhelms the temporary inconveniences and dissatisfactions you have to endure in order to get there.

Action Exercises

Here are three steps you can take immediately to put these ideas into action.

First, accept that you deserve all the joy and happiness you can possibly achieve through your own efforts.

Second, make your own happiness the chief organizing principle of your life and judge everything against that standard. Follow your inner guiding light.

Third, be willing to work hard and pay the price for the satisfaction and rewards you desire. Always go the extra mile and your success will be assured.

Igniting Passion, Inspiring Success

At Metrobank, Human Resources Department waiting area were batch of young hopefuls so elated.

This day was the first day of their job. While on the otherside it was me and my business partner Ansel- with the same level of intensity and right state of mind we were waiting for the release of our last Paycheck. We were gainfully employed for the last ten years with the bank, just recently we kicked our Boss out.

The young are newly hired and we are newly fired! Either side we were on high and our level of excitement were uncontested.

For the young. its their moment of triumph having surpassed the hurdle of long years of education. they willfully obeyed their proud Mama and Papa "My child get good grades, get graduated, and get a good job" For reasons Metrobank is one of the top corporation in the land, Wow! its an honor for the newly grad and their parents to have it first with the Good hands.

Next side was Me and Ansel laughing out loud, we recalled how it was us once before. We were then energized and hopefuls. Today we take risks and triumphed past employment and regenerates our life with time freedom and financial independence.

Being young and young once we have same reason to be joyous for now, we know exactly how to be triumphant over each destinations we had passed. Its not what you are today, what you were before, the future is always clear. Its YOU.

Changing life is changing YOU, Decide what you want to be, whatever you may be. the difference is YOU.

Yes its YOU!

Set a new dream and you'll have plenty of energy, Set a goal that inspires you
(Philippians 3:13-14)

The leader In You!

How To Achieve Success In MLM in Philippines
Be A Leader!
Let’s accept it, you can never build your MLM Business if you don’t become a Leader!
And that is the honest to goodness truth my friend.

Remember this: The only reason people will Join you in your Opportunity is when they perceive you as a leader who can provide them the solution to their problem (Which is financial problem most of the time) and/or if they can trust you.
If they’ll see you as a person who has the courage and the commitment in your own personal journey of growth and development that create success. Someone who is worth following and listening. Someone that has value to offer them that they can learn from and use in able for them to succeed.
Not your products, Not your company background, Not even your compensation plan.
How To Become a Leader?

Simply decide to be a Leader Right Now. And that is all it is.
Because no one in this world will appoint you to become one.
It is not something that will be bestowed upon you by another person or any company.
Being a Leader is not base on your income or your commission check
lt doesn't matter if you don't have any results yet
A Leader is simply a role that you put yourself into.
You will never be a leader if you will not decide to be one. Period!
Leadership is an ability to lead others and tell them what to do next and guide them to the right direction.
Here are the 5 learning steps for you to become a Leader.
1. Lead Your Self First
The starting point for all leadership is learning how to lead yourself. In order to be a good leader you must first be a good follower that has discipline and control of yourself.
You must learn to control your emotions. Do you have a tendency to get angry very easily when things don’t go your way?
You must learn to control your appetite. Eat only foods that will be beneficial to your body and not the ones that will harm your body.
Do you have vices? You know what will it do to you so keep away from those.
The first step in learning to lead ourselves is exercising self control and steering our passions into things that are beneficial and not destructive to us.

2.  Believe in your true value
Because if you don’t. Expect no one to believe that you are valuable either. You have to believe in your capabilities. Beliefs comes first before success.
3.  Dedicate on Developing Yourself
Be a person who has the courage and the commitment to develop himself and own personal journey of growth that create success. Face challenges and learn from them. True leaders expect challenges and find ways to conquer them. By developing yourself, you'll increase your knowledge, skill sets and your value to others.
4.  Provide Value To others

After increasing your knowledge and your skills, you can now teach others what you know, And if you can teach even one thing to another person that is valuable, you'll become the expert to their eyes. In our industry, having something to teach is more important than having something to show off.
5.   Commit in Helping Others Success
This is what this industry is all about ever since. Helping others! Focus on helping your people, your downline, the money will follow next naturally. If they succeed, you succeed.
I hope you find this post valuable and it opens up your mind on the most important aspect in MLM business that you need to be focusing with which is Leadership. And don’t get lost in a concept that you need to have results first in your MLM business to become a leader.  I don't want you to fall on that trap like most Network Marketer specially here in the Philippines
