Is Fear Running Your Life

IS FEAR RUNNING YOUR LIFE? LEARN TO USE FEAR TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
 posted by Team Tony

What stops us from moving forward? Fear. If you're an achiever you probably call it stress. Stress is fear. We all experience fear in some context during our lives: fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of love, fear of being alone, or fear of the unknown. In fact, it's hard-wired in all human beings – nothing we do in our lifetime will take fear away. So, what's the best way to deal with fear? You must learn to dance with it. In the video below, Tony reveals how to use fear to your advantage — instead of letting it use you.

  2. What scares you Most? Fear of failure (keeps you from trying)
Fear of success (sabotages your every effort)
Fear of looking foolish (keeps you from speaking up)
Fear of speaking (keeps others from seeing your brilliance)
Fear of loneliness (pushes you into unhealthy relationships)
Fear of poverty (clouds your financial decisions or creates workaholism)

  3. Has anyone ever called you a worry wart?
While worrying may spur someone to take immediate action, worry for the sake of worrying can really destroy a person’s spirit.
But why do people worry so much anyway?
I could be because worrying seems to give them a false sense of security.
As though worrying about something seems to make life easier.
Unfortunately, worry produces a lot of stress hormones and it could really affect your life if you are not careful.
Worrying also doesn’t improve the situation further too. It often makes it worst as it makes other people around you increase their anxiety.
    Think about this idea…
The past is already gone and there is nothing we can do about the past.
The future has virtually no certainty, so worrying about it doesn’t produce any results.
The only thing you have is the present moment.
Make full use of the present for the present is a ‘gift’.
Question: Would worry make any situation better? What is the worst thing that can happen? Would it kill you? Knowing that it won’t kill you, how would you do things differently now?
